We bring you top quality ink cartridges at bargain price!
There are lots of reasons to use compatible cartridges and refills. To enjoy great savings, freedom of choice, and save our planet are just a few. Certainly, the quality standards of the compatible ink products in the market do vary greatly. To ensure satisfactory print quality and safety for your printer, choosing a brand that you can fully rely on and constantly get support from is the most important issue.
The definition of good ink in our standard is that it is comparable with the original ink, compatible with and safe for the cartridge and printer. To make sure that the above criteria can be met, a straight standard must be set for each type of ink and a series of test and procedure must be performed before the ink can be bottled. A brief list is as follow :
Physical and Chemical Tests :To ensure the proximity in ink formulation and specification with those of the original ink. The tests include UV-VIS spectroscopic analysis, tests on pH, viscosity, electro-conductivity, surface tension, drying, aging etc.
Physical Printing Tests :To ensure the satisfactory printing performance of the ink. The major parameters include clarity, brightness, water resistance, light endurance, and printing stability etc.
Control of the Production Environment :To ensure the purity and fineness of the ink particles, the production site needs to be dust reduced and all the inks need to be very finely filtered.
First of all, check if you have removed the yellow plastic tap completely from the cartridge surface. If you have, it could be due to the blockage of printhead by the presence of air bubbles inside the cartridge. In fact, poor color or white lines on printout could be due to the same reason. You may either proceed with the "Cleaning the Printhead" function in your printer for a couple of times to draw out the bubbles or leave your cartridge inside the printer for an hour or so to let the bubbles float up themselves. AVOID TAKING OUT THE CARTRIDGE FROM THE PRINTER ONCE INSTALLED.
Some printer models have printout counting systems implanted in them. That is, the printer manufacturer has pre-set the limit of the printing volume of a cartridge. Therefore, if a functioning cartridge is taken out of the printer and replaced with a new one, the printer will not reset itself but continue to add on to the previous count and signal "Ink Out" when the limit is met. You can restart the printer and run the "Replacing an Ink Cartridge" process once again. Yet do remember not to replace the cartridge until the printer signals "Ink Out" for the next time.
Some cartridges, especially those without printhead attached, are not suitable for refilling. In some cases, it's because of the enlargement of the Ink Outlets, which will result in ink leakage, due to the repeated insertion of the cartridge into the printer. For these cartridges, it is more cost effective to use a brand new cartridge to replace it. E-InkShop has a wide range of brand new compatible cartridges for you to choose from.
For cartridges with built-in printhead, (as for most HP cartridges), they can be refilled successfully with innovative devices under correct usage. See our Online Refill Instructions for details.
