How to use the refill kit for HP 51645A, and 51640A.

Each refill kit comes with 2 steel balls, 2 pieces of leak-proff tape, 1 bradawl and 2 ink injectors with 20ml ink in each one.

	1. Tear off the black spot at the bottom of the cartridge (with a knife or any pointed tool) and see a steel ball. Press the ball into the cartridge with the bradawl and reveal the filling hole.
	2. Take off the sealing cap from the injector. Put the injector into the filling hole, depress the plunger slowly until the cartridge is full or the plunger is empty.
	3. Use the bradawl to plug the ink-filling hole with the supplied steel ball. Do not push too hard, or the steel ball will fall into the cartridge.
	4. Clean the filling hole area with tissue paper. Put the leak-proof tape on the ink-filling hole area. Clean the nozzle with tissue paper, reload the cartridge into the printer. Run the "head cleaning" cycle 2-3 times before printing test or nozzle test.

Please Note:

• Make sure that the ink in the cartridge has already run out before refilling.
• Printing results will be affected if the cartridge dries or is damaged. If the printing results do not become normal after running "head cleaning" cycle seeral times, leave the cartridge in the holder of the printer for 3-5 hours before performing printing test or nozzle test. If it still remains abnormal, the print head is probably already damaged.
• Make sure that ink does not leak when plugging the filling holes with steel ball and sticking on the leak-proof tape.
