How to use the refill kit for HP 51641A, and C1823.

Each refill kit comes with 1 air pump, 3 needles, 3 ink injectors with 20ml ink in each one.

	1. Place the cartridge on a piece of tissue paper in case of ink spill or leak. Use a ball pen to push the three caps into the cartridge and reveal the filling holes.
	2. Take out the ink injector. The color of the plunger indicates the color of the ink. Substitute the sealing cap with needle, remove the cap of the needle.
	3. Insert the needle deep into the correcponding hole. Make sure you have the right color of ink for the hole, otherwise the cartridge will have to be discarded.
	4. Depress the plunger slowly to inject the ink into the cartrdge. Take the needle out when the cartridge is filled, or the injector is empty. Repeat the step to fill the other two colors.
	5. Insert the air pump into the filling hole and depress the pump 3-5 times so that the ink can fully filled to the nozzle. Clean the nozzle. Reload the cartridge into the printer and run the "head cleaning" cycle 2-3 times before printing test or nozzle test.

Please Note:

• Make sure that the ink in the cartridge has already run out before refilling.
• Printing results will be affected if the cartridge dries or is damaged. If the printing results do not become normal after running "head cleaning" cycle seeral times, leave the cartridge in the holder of the printer for 3-5 hours before performing printing test or nozzle test. If it still remains abnormal, the print head is probably already damaged.
